Context
The evolution of an existing WordPress book website into a media platform for connected works, formats, and their creators.
The project is in its architecture and migration phase: auditing the legacy system, analysing its backup and prototype, designing the content model and design system, and preparing the move to Astro with headless WordPress.
Challenge
The existing book website no longer fits the future product. It needs a broader content model for books, illustrations, streams, creators, and interconnected worlds.
Current outcome
The original system has been audited, a new content model defined, and the migration architecture prepared. The project remains in active development, with future features clearly separated from completed work.
